We already know the plot of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling’s ‘Barbie’

Until now not many details had been released about Greta Gerwig’s film apart from the cast and the iconic camp aesthetic. The plot has finally been unveiled in the full trailer, in which Barbie has to visit the real world alongside Ken, who often seems like her sidekick or pet.

In the film we will see how the couple has to face the real world, with normal cities that are not pink and the worst for the protagonist… with flat feet. One of the big surprises is at the end of the trailer, when we hear a version of ‘Barbie Girl’ performed by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

The soundtrack also features Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, Lizzo and Ryan Gosling himself. The characters will be played by Robbie, Gosling, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Issa Rae, Emma Mackey, Conor Swindle, Ncuti Gatwa, Helen Mirren, America Ferrera and Michael Cera among many other stars. ‘Barbie’ finally arrives in theaters on July 21.
