In a night full of creative energy and celebration, we presented for the first time the XTAR of the Year Award, an initiative that recognises those who not only represent our community, but who redefine with authenticity and courage what it means to be part of it. The event, held in partnership with Tequila PATRÓN, marks a milestone in our history, highlighting Arón Piper as the first recipient of this new era.

Since its founding in 2017, HIGHXTAR. has been much more than just a medium: we are a platform that amplifies new voices, breaking with the establishment and generating trends. This year, we wanted to recognise a figure whose essence captures who we are, and Arón Piper embodies this perfectly. His work in film and music has shaken up the cultural scene, while his authenticity and ability to connect with diverse audiences make him a symbol of our community.

The award presentation took place at an intimate but vibrant event, where PATRÓN Tequila was the ideal partner to grace the occasion. Renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to perfection, PATRÓN has set a super-premium standard that resonates with HIGHXTAR‘s values of excellence and authenticity. Amidst carefully crafted cocktails, we celebrate not only the talent of the evening’s talent, but also the extraordinary flavours of a tequila that, like Piper, reaches new heights of perfection.

A pioneer since 1989, PATRÓN Tequila is not only handcrafted with the finest ingredients – 100% Weber Blue Agave, water and yeast – but has taken innovation further with creations such as PATRÓN EL CIELO and the brand’s next exclusive launch, PATRÓN EL ALTO, an exceptional distilled and masterfully aged Prestige tequila that will arrive in early 2025 in Spain. The latter, made from a masterful blend of reposado, añejos and extra añejos tequilas, offered a smooth and incomparable taste that accompanied the extraordinary moments of the evening.

With this first XTAR of the Year Award, HIGHXTAR. and PATRÓN Tequila have taken a firm step into the future. We celebrate those who, like Arón Piper, embody our essence, and we toast – literally – to a 2025 full of authenticity, creativity and flavour.
