The iconic 2006 film, ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, has left an indelible mark on pop culture with its sharp dialogue, Anne Hathaway’s makeover and Meryl Streep’s unforgettable performance. Rumours of a sequel have circulated for years, fuelled by ambiguous statements from its cast and crew. In 2013, the novel’s author Lauren Weisberger published a sequel to the original book, rekindling fans’ hopes. But how real is it that the sequel is coming out?

They also confirmed that a story centred on Miranda Priestly in the decline of print magazine publishing is also being planned, this time pitting her against Emily, who is likely to be a top executive at one of the biggest luxury conglomerates (LVMH or Kering).
