Provocation and performance are the words that define the new Crack collection by Giovanni Franco Viera.

We sneak into Crack’s backstage at MBFWM

The last edition of the Allianz Ego 23 catwalk, at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid, left us with JET LAG, the most agitating collection of the Canarian designer Giovanni Franco Viera, better known as CRACK.

At 28 years of age, the stylist and designer Giovanni Franco Viera, from Crack, staged one of the most subversive shows ever to have passed through the IFEMA exhibition centre, recreating the interior of an aeroplane bound for Madrid. And he did so by means of garments that reveal an intimate side of the designer to symbolise the abandonment of your hometown in search of a future full of illusion, but also uncertainty.

The fashion show had a great casting of Talents, from the entrance with Alaska Nebraska, La Dj Toccororo, La showgirl Bluetooth and closing it with a performance by Hector Fuertes. And a team formed by the choreographer Adrian Bolaños, who was in charge of the acting of the models, the stylist Susana Garcia, the music by Carreño, the muah design by Isabella Ching and the 3D/graphics by Guillermo Solas and Orojondo. And producers like Cris Franchy, Jose Senorán and Peter Sposito.

Great collaborations could be seen such as the Jane Bardot jewellery collection for Crack Studio, created by the designer María Blanco, an artistic jewellery project, portable art, wearable art, on this occasion pieces inspired by the world of travel and airports. The footwear with New Rock and the bags with Hydrangea. All the aesthetics of the accessories took you to the Jet Las world that the designer talks about in his fashion show.

Telfar x UGG is back this season.
