We travelled to London with Timberland to celebrate the “Advice of an Icon” campaign

A very special encounter starring Skepta.

Last Thursday, in the midst of London Fashion Week, Timberland unveiled its FW25 campaign entitled “Advice of an Icon” to the world, with an immersive experience at the legendary Village Underground in Shoreditch. More than 600 attendees—ourselves included—were transported into a universe that paid tribute to the brand’s heritage, its vision for the future and, of course, the enduring power of the Original Yellow Boot™.

And right at the epicentre of the night was Skepta, who delighted with a performance that encapsulated London’s energy and set the tone for an event that fused music, fashion and art under a single mantra: independence and creativity. Around him, an ever-changing art installation served as a canvas for a new generation of voices that are redefining what it means to be an icon in 2025.

Big Zulu, Jayahadadream and Miss Banks burst into the cubicle with an impromptu cypher that sparked collective euphoria. These surprises, brimming with authenticity, perfectly encapsulated the spirit of reinvention that guides the campaign. Thus, Village Underground became a hybrid between a studio, stage and club, welcoming numerous guests such as Gabriel Moses, Clint419, Novelist, Lost Girl, Samham and Billy The Goat, among many others.
