What we experienced in Dubai with SVD and adidas

Sivasdescalzo (SVD) has opened a flagship shop in one of the cities where everything is possible, Dubai. The H. team couldn’t miss the inauguration of this new space and together with adidas we travelled to the Middle East to live an experience where fashion and design were the protagonists. We tell you everything we lived there accompanied by our friends Clara Aparicio, Misterpiro, Sabek and Eider Paskual.

Following its international success, Sivasdescalzo (SVD), the epitome of contemporary fashion and streetwear, is moving to Dubai to open a new space. After landing in the Middle East, the H. team along with Clara, Misterpiro, Sabek and Eider were lucky enough to be among the privileged few to get a first-hand look at the new shop located in Dubai Design District (d3) thanks to the German brand adidas. After visiting the 600m2 of this flagship store and the latest SVD and adidas launches, they took us to dinner at Clap, the restaurant with the best views in Dubai and the best sushi.

After staying at the 25 Hours hotel, we enjoyed a private yacht ride on the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s iconic palm-shaped man-made island. Afterwards, we spent the afternoon at the Skatepark located in the same district as the shop: Dubai Design District (D3). Adidas together with SVD had prepared different actions: full customization of the Skatepark and a demo by their skate team formed by Hermann Stene, Maite Steenhoudt, Heitor Da Silva and Gustav Tonnesen. Later we had dinner at Novikov and got to know the Dubai clubbing scene at 5 Palms.

Last day and we couldn’t leave the city without visiting the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. SVD and adidas gave us a tour of this impressive skyscraper from where we saw all of Dubai. In addition, we also visited the Museum of the Future, a museum of innovation and design located next to Emirates Towers. To round off the experience, we visited the Dubai desert with buggies and ended up watching the sunset from the dunes. In addition, they prepared a dinner for us in the desert with a fire show included. What came after that remains between us.
