For the Autumn/Winter 2025 season, Y-3 introduces a technical proposal designed for running, staying true to its approach. A functional design with a clear visual identity. The collection is built around the Amber Ink print, applied using an aerosol technique that generates unique variations on each garment. The visual campaign is signed by photographer Thue Nørgaard.
Founded in 2002 as a collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and adidas, Y-3 has worked to define its own language within sportswear. Here it reaffirms it with a range of pieces including T-shirts, leggings, shorts and jackets, all developed with technical fabrics designed for changing conditions without compromising on design direction.
The colour palette, deep reds, cool greys and black, gains strength through the spray treatment. It is applied on amplified silhouettes such as short quilted jackets or long-cut mackintoshes. A clear departure from traditional sporty minimalism, opting for volume and texture as key elements.
Footwear is also part of the proposal. Y-3 updates the adidas ADIOS 9 and ADIOS PRO 4 silhouettes, maintaining the technical approach and adding a graphic treatment in the Three Stripes, this time in black, white, yellow and red, with a painted effect finish.
The Y-3 Autumn/Winter collection is now available on the adidas website.
