Ye registers its new YEEZY socks trademark

The rapper has filed papers to trademark the YEEZY SOCK SHOES he recently sported.

The company founded by Ye together with his agent André Bodiford, Mascotte Holdings Inc. has filed a trademark application for “YZY SOCK SHOES”. The documents filed on May 4 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office include an identification that reads “Socks; socks with leather soles.”

We first spotted the controversial rapper wearing his YEEZY SOCK SHOES and leggings after YEEZY’s surprise SEASON 10 presentation in Los Angeles on May 1. Recently, he has been photographed walking with his wife Bianza Censori wearing MMA shin guards and forgoing shoes, wearing only socks as footwear.
