Mother company Google is looking to make YouTube a “major shopping destination,” according to Bloomberg, adding that content creators will be able to use YouTube’s own software to track and tag the products that appear in their videos.
Similar to the launch of Instagram’s shopping feature, youtubers will be in charge of the products they choose to feature. The feature is now being tested on random channels and allows viewers to watch a video and then purchase products directly from it. Amazon Shakes.
