Zalando is expanding its universe and officially landing in Spain with Zalando Beauty, a new category that breaks away from traditional beauty codes to focus on authenticity, mood and self-expression. This isn’t about chasing impossible ideals, but about the freedom to define what feeling good means to each individual.
The platform is built around five key categories — skincare, make-up, fragrance, haircare and bodycare — featuring a curated mix of global icons, viral favourites and emerging names. Among the standout brands are Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Dr. Jart+, Augustinus Bader, The Ordinary, Sol de Janeiro, Rowse and Noble Panacea, alongside established classics such as Lancôme, Estée Lauder and Kiehl’s. In fragrance, highlights include Maison Margiela, Narciso Rodríguez and Viktor&Rolf, while in make-up, the Spanish brand 3Ina takes the spotlight.
According to Zalando’s Spanish Beauty Snapshot study, bodycare leads daily beauty routines in Spain (60%), followed by fragrance (56%) and facial skincare (48%). Hydrating and soothing formulas top the list of favourites, alongside simplified routines and stress-relief products.
These figures reflect a wider global shift: searches for minimalist routines are up 1,251%, and calming products have increased by 700%. Today, beauty is less about perfection and more about wellbeing, comfort and authentic identity. Zalando arrives in Spain at the perfect moment to cement this new way of understanding beauty.
