This podcast, which began as a modest project recorded in Mariang’s apartment with minimal equipment, has evolved in just two years to become one of the great successes of Spanish production, with a loyal audience of young people who consume its programs on a weekly basis.

Presented by Mariang and Carlos Peguer, the podcast stands out for showing opposing opinions but with a shared perspective on current cultural trends and their generation, challenging preconceived ideas and promoting empathy.

To celebrate the beginning of this new stage with Zalando as official sponsor, “La Pija & La Quinqui” recorded the first episode of the season in an event open to the public on October 4th at the emblematic Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid. Fans of the program will be able to enjoy this conversation starting October 8 on all platforms.

After the recording of the first episode, Zalando and “La Pija & La Quinqui” organized an intimate party at the iconic Club Malasaña, where friends and familiar faces gathered to enjoy a live performance by the talented singer Belén Aguilera and dance to the rhythm of DJ Drea and Brava (untalasalsa).

The new season of the podcast will begin airing on October 8, with a new episode each week in which Mariang and Carlos will address a wide variety of topics and interview artists and public figures. Listeners will be able to enjoy a season that will consist of 40 episodes and run through July 2024. The podcast is produced by The Story Lab and is produced in collaboration with Iprospect.
