Casablanca returns to Monte-Carlo to seek references among casinos, tycoons and racing drivers. It thus presents its tailoring collection for the FW21 season.
Among playing cards, diamonds and bright colours, Charaf Tajer finds the perfect inspiration to design his new pieces. Luxurious fabrics and elegant cuts take over suit jackets and harlequin trousers. Casablanca does not lose its artisanal essence and shows it through its weaving techniques. This can be seen in the bright green suit made of silk blend. Other garments such as ‘Alaskan Blue’, ‘Candelight Peach’ and ‘Persimmon’ are made from Australian merino yarns.
Tajer says of the collection, “Tailoring is very important to us. Part of our creative process has always been to take classic fashion elements and apply our modern vision to them. For us, the challenge and pleasure of making a suit is to bring it to the world through the lens of Casablanca.”
