Early this morning, the MET Museum in New York hosted, once again, the most important fashion party. An event that brings together the world’s most influential figures and, with them, their best looks.

And the most awaited night of the year arrived. Under the Gilded Glamour dress code, the celebrities shone at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Vanessa Hudgens kicked off the red carpet in a spectacular see-through Moschino ensemble. Blake Lively, accompanied by her partner Ryan Reynolds, stole the show in a Versace Atelier gown embroidered with crystals, metallic leather and sequins.

Rosalía dazzled in a design by Matthew M. Williams for Givenchy. A dress full of pearls and ornaments with a mermaid cut and a flowing train. Kim Kardashian paid tribute to the iconic Marylin Monroe in a vintage beige, jewel-encrusted Bob Mackie gown. Paying tribute to the city that never sleeps was Alicia Keys, who opted for a Ralph Lauren gown featuring a black asymmetrical cape with jewelled embroidery depicting the New York skyline.

But the star of the night was undoubtedly Gigi Hadid. The model made a statement on the red carpet wearing a dramatic latex Versace look over a tailored quilted coat. It’s a modern interpretation of late 1800s coats and an update of the Dolman silhouette for a new era of glamour.
