Virgil + Berg = Paris IL

On the one hand_ previusly as «Flat White«, Virgil Abloh has done well to establish himself as not merely a fashion designer, but also a tasteful music selector. On the other hand_ Brodinski’s “right hand man”, Guillaume Berg. Together play as Paris IL.

Por un lado anteriormente pinchando como como «Flat White», Virgil Abloh quién ha sabido consolidarse no sólo como diseñador de moda (Off White) sino también como Dj. En el otro lado, la mano derecha de Brodinski, Guillaume Berg. Juntos son Paris IL.

With roots in both fashion and music culture, the creatives known for excelling in their respective fields have finded an exciting middle ground called Paris, IL. This project was born out of a desire to bring underground club culture to the public. In the last year the two have played back-to-back across the world, be it Rinse FM France, A Cut Above party in Antwep, Boiler Room or The Scotch in London.

Arraigados en la cultura de la moda y la música respectivamente, ambos son muy conocidos por ser sobresalientes cada uno en su campo. Ahora han encontrado un punto emocionante a medio camino entre moda y música donde juntar sus ideas llamado Paris, IL. Este proyecto nació del deseo de llevar la cultura de club underground al público. En el último año los back-to-back se han sucedido alrededor de todo el mundo, ya sea Rinse FM France, A Cut Above Party en Amberes, Boiler Room o The Scotch en London.

The mixes of Paris IL are a simply but perfect mix between Chicago house inspiration and the  underground techno culture. We can’t wait to listen their own productions…We are confident that they will do it.

Las mezclas de Paris IL son una combinación sencilla pero perfecta entre la inspiración del house de Chicago y la cultura techno underground. Estamos impacientes por poder escuchar sus propias producciones… Estamos seguros de que las harán.

Since they met two years ago, when Kanye & Virgil were in Paris working on Yeezus album, they haven’t stopped to work together.

Desde que se conocieron hace dos años, cuando Kanye y Virgil estaban en París trabajando en el álbum Yeezus, no han parado de trabajar juntos.

Today, Paris, IL has crossed the borders of music. Berg & Virgil are a fantastic creative team and they have demonstrated it: clothing collaborations (Off White x BMC), Berg as music curator for Off White & many new proposals that are to come.

Hoy en día, Paris IL ha cruzado las fronteras de la música. Berg y Virgil son un equipo creativo fantástico y lo han demostrado constantemente: colaboraciones de ropa (Off White x BMC), Berg como music curator para Off White y muchas nuevas propuestas que están por venir.
