The British brand AFFIX is back for SS 2019 with a variety of pieces inspired, as usual, by workwear and utilitarianism.
Designed by Kiko Kostadinov, stylist Stephen Mann, artist Taro Ray and Gimme Five founder Michael Kopelman, the collection is characterized by its inescapable industrial-inspired brand image, resulting in a unique fusion of workwear and streetwear.
In this new proposal, articles such as sweatshirts and long-sleeved T-shirts are silk-screened with the AFFIX brand on the back and sometimes on the front. The contrasting colours give an added impact to the graphics; orange with yellow or green with red.
There are also two sets of “Public Service” jackets and trousers with glossy sports panels under the pockets for maximum visibility. Made of recycled polyester, the garments offer resistance to wrinkles as well as exalting the new sustainability movement. The proposal closes with a group of caps that mix materials.
The new AFFIX collection is available through distributors such as SSENSE or minishop in Madrid.
