Balenciaga, the French firm of Spanish origin, launches a collection of solidarity for animal lovers. With “I love pets”, it aims to pay tribute to all dogs and cats with a line of clothing and accessories. Part of the profits from this capsule will go to the organisation Sociéte Protective des Animaux.
Brightly coloured backgrounds, Comic Sans texts and animal gifs flood the Balenciaga website to present their new collection. The luxury brand encourages us to adopt animals and offer them a better life. A proposal with a very novel aesthetic, with which it aims to tackle a timeless problem: the abandonment of pets.
Sweatshirts, T-shirts and accessories with phrases of “I love cats” or “I love dogs” and photos of pets make up the capsule. The “I love Pets” proposal will allocate 10% of the profits from the sale of the garments to the SPA (Sociéte Protective des Animaux), one of the oldest organisations dedicated to the care and protection of animals.
The campaign of the French maison that pays homage to all dogs and cats offers a complete experience for animal lovers. From their website we can play mini-games, learn about the work of SPA or get information on how to adopt. In addition, they encourage us to send them photographs of our pets for the page gallery.
If you want to buy some of the items in the “I love pets” collection or find out more about this initiative, you can do so on the Balenciaga website.
