The new Balenciaga campaign features ads for models who roll their eyes, grimace at a pair of shoes or fall asleep on top of a high-end bag.

Instead of presenting happy ideas as in the SS20 campaign, the brand led by Demna Gvasalia has kept a much more direct line this time. The posters, photographed by Chris Maggio, focus on product names rather than catchy slogans, including: the Ghost Phone Holder, Zen Sneakers and the delicate Hourglass Bag.

Balenciaga recently announced that it would make an annual donation to the NAACP in the wake of the police murder of George Floyd. The brand shared the news in a Twitter feed, although now that tweet has been removed.
