During the days of the New York fashion week Víctor Barragán (@barragannnn) presented his SS19 collection in a discreet but no less spectacular way.
The Mexican designer known for always going against the tide and with ideas, a priori wrong, conquered fashion lovers again. His presentation, in the Century 21 of the WTC, had little artifice but what shone was what was really important: the proposal that ran the “catwalk”.
The title of the collection left little to imagination. Terracotta, took us through reddish colors that connected perfectly with the proposal in which denim and leather had a lot of prominence. In addition, the models were covered with clay on the torso and head, thus connecting the entire presentation with the concept.
It has never been easy for a Mexican to conquer the U.S. But Barragán (@barragannnn) with his signature has shown that the American dream is possible as long as you are constant and, most importantly, have something special to tell or show.
