For the spring/summer of 2020, Daily Paper (@dailypaper) has developed the theme of Afro-futurism again that we first saw in FW19.
This new campaign imagines how a future society separated from the planet uses cultural heritage and nostalgia to build the foundations of a new world.
The collection of the Amsterdam-based clothing brand explores the “evolution of the collective consciousness of this civilization” adapted in a vibrant color palette and in animal print. Following the concept of “Nostalgia Meets a New World”, the campaign visuals photographed by Gabrielle Kannemeyer (@gabriellekannemeyer) show the models’ identities as members of a completely new social group.
The SS20 collection is now available on the Daily Paper website, prices from 59.95 euros.
