This week’s Supreme Drop will include a series of garments-attribute to My Bloody Valentine, the pioneering rock band in the musical sub-genre “shoegazing”.
My Bloody Valentine has given the album design to Supreme for a new clothing collection. The references are from the 1988 EP Feed Me With Your Kiss, the 1990 EP Glider, and, of course, Angus Cameron and the cover of Loveless.
As Supreme says, “My Bloody Valentine has influenced generations of musicians and audiences. The band forged new possibilities in how to make shoegaze music, as well as how to listen to it and experience it”.
In the capsule collection we can see shirts, trucker jackets or hoodies with the original illustrations of the albums of the My Bloody Valentine discography.
Since most Supreme stores are closed, the Supreme x My Bloody Valentine collection will only be sold online on April 23rd. In Japan, it will be released two days later, on the 25th, and will be on sale both online and in physical stores.
