According to reports, Apple’s iPhone 12 will not be released with a EarPods in its box. Following the elimination of the standard 3.5mm headphone jack with the iPhone 7, technical analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the California-based technology company will try to no longer include its wired EarPods in the box.
Kuo suggests that we could see great promotions for AirPods during the Christmas season, with no new AirPods or AirPods Pro models expected until 2021. If the elimination is true, many customers will be forced to buy EarPods or invest in a wireless option from either Apple or an audio provider.
A Christmas promotion for AirPods could help remedy the problem of the price that has always been high for Apple AirPods.
