032c brings 80s punk back to life on FW20

The german brand 032c collaborates with the punk collective Die Tödliche Doris to present a collection that takes us back to the Berlin underground scene of the 80s and its dark aesthetics.

032c has become a cultural reality in itself. That’s why this time they wanted to reflect, through a textile proposal, the culture of their native Berlin: the one in which the punk collective Die Tödliche Doris was the clear protagonist of the underground movement.

The creative director of 032c, Maria Koch, collaborated with Wolfgang Muller, the founder of the collective, to create the collection. The collection includes graphic clothing, inscriptions such as ‘SEX TOYS’ from Tabea Blumenschein’s drawings, and motifs from the archives of Die Tödliche Doris, which have been reproduced and reconstructed using new materials.

The skull-embroidered sweatshirts, tie-dye trousers, leather, and spiked belt elevate the punk concept and the ‘aggressive’ aesthetic of that alternative Berlin of the 80s that they take as their inspiration. The military boots just complete the anti-system look.

The autumn-winter 2020 collection of 032c is already available on the brand’s website and in selected shops such as Foot District.
