Daily Paper and Off-White join forces to build Ghana’s first skatepark

The “Freedom Skating Park” will become a meeting point for the young people of Accra, the first skatepark in the country.

In recent years, the fashion and cultural scene in Ghana, and particularly in the capital Accra, has become increasingly interesting. Already many brands have decided to invest in the future of the African city.

It is within this framework that the latest initiative of Daily Paper, together with Off-White, the social collective Surf Ghana and the design studio Libro Accra, has launched the project “Freedom Skate Park”, which consists of the construction of the first skate park in the country.

This space in Accra will be the tenth skatepark in the entire African continent and will be completed in early 2021.
