Having worked alongside the team at Supreme, The North Face is teaming up with Japanese footwear brand Hender Scheme to design a new collection of shoes and accessories that evoke the great outdoors.
This is not the first time that these two firms have joined forces with the aim of creating new designs; they had already done so in 2020. This second time the excuse for their meeting has been to design new footwear models such as sandals and hiking shoes as well as various accessories such as backpacks and travel bags.
The capsule is characterised, above all, by the following motto: “things that change, things that don’t change”. The HS Climbing Diversity, a Vibram-soled boot designed for hiking activities; and the HS Ultra Statum PRO, a sandal model with straps and an EVA midsole, have been developed based on this idea.
Completing the collection are the TNF Shuttle backpack and the HS Glam Travel Kit bag; two perfect accessories that combine design and functionality in equal measure.
Hender Scheme x The North Face will be available from 30 April. However, a raffle will be held on the Japanese brand’s website on 9 April to give access to the products in advance of their launch.
