It is well known by all that this 2021 there has been a clear winner when it comes to footwear. Which one? It couldn’t be any other than Crocs. Ever since Demna Gvasalia designed a prototype inspired by this brand for Balenciaga, the craze for this type of shoe began to spread. As was to be expected, as a result of this, this clog began to position itself as one of the clear “must-haves” of the season, but not only that, but dozens of designers, some emerging and others more established, have wanted to collaborate with this brand. The latest to join this list is none other than the American designer and vice-president of men’s footwear at Versace, Salehe Bembury.
As we said, Salehe, big sneaker lover and ex-designer of Yeezy, GAP or Cole Haan, has been the last one to want to collaborate with Crocs and contribute with his vision, redesigning this Classic Clog silhouette from 0 and turning it into a clear object of desire. This Salehe Bembury x Crocs Classic clog has been designed and coated in the monochromatic colours of white and cream, which are accompanied by a ribbed fingerprint pattern that extends throughout the shoe.
As for the dark grey, translucent sole grips, they wrap around the toe and heel sections, and a reworked heel strap system offers additional support.
What do you think of these Salehe Bembury x Crocs? We are more than sure that these clogs will be an absolute sales success, although for the moment we will have to wait, as the release date is still unknown.
