Saint Laurent returns to the Paris Fashion Week calendar

After skipping what would have been the traditional Paris Fashion Week schedule due to the pandemic, Saint Laurent is back to show its spring/summer 2022 collection.

The maison’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, confirmed, a year ago, that he was taking the decision to escape the traditional timetable for SS21. “Slowing down and living in the moment reveals all the vulnerabilities of an imprisoned organisation. What’s out of fashion now is the scheduling of the whole system: the shows, the showrooms, the orders.” 

With the industry returning to physical presentations, Saint Laurent will once again join the fashion calendar alongside Balenciaga, Loewe and Maison Margiela, as published in the official PFW calendar. The Saint Laurent SS22 presentation is scheduled for 28 September at 8pm in person, but will also be streamed online.
