Antony Morato launches for the FW 2021-2022 season a capsule collection dedicated to the street art of TvBoy. The graphic symbolism of neo pop becomes a tribute to the creations of one of the most important street artists on the international scene: TvBoy aka Salvatore Benintende.
Printed on sweatshirts, T-shirts and accessories, the artist’s creations, exhibited in the world’s most important modern art galleries and museums, reinforce the street/pop style of the collection. The brand reinterprets the union between pop culture and fashion, the prints represent the trends and icons of today’s society, music and art history in an ironic and satirical way, always leaving room for reflection.
Irreverent versions of famous musicians, from David Bowie to Prince, George Michael to Lou Reed, are flanked by works of art such as Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” or the reinterpretation of the word “L O V E” as a global concept of love, in all its forms. “I am excited about this collaboration with Antony Morato, born out of a mutual willingness to discuss and enrich creativity,” adds TvBoy.
The collection will be available from 8 September at www.antonymorato.com and in physical shops.
