London’s Royal Albert Hall will soon host the 2021 Fashion Awards. On 29 November, the iconic event will include awards and performances. But first, the British Fashion Council has unveiled this year’s list of nominees.
“The Fashion Awards 2021 presented by TikTok, one of the most anticipated moments in the global fashion calendar, has been reimagined to place fashion at the intersection of culture and create a global entertainment platform for brands, creatives, designers, artists and trendsetters to come together and celebrate the fashion industry.”
Daniel Lee, Demna Gvasalia, Jonathan Anderson, Kim Jones, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons are nominated for “Designer of the Year“. Bethany Williams, Bianca Saunders, Nensi Dojaka, Priya Ahluwalia, and Richard Quinn have been nominated for the “BFC Foundation Award”.
Other recognitions include “15 Leaders of Change” who have made an impact on the fashion industry in three categories: Environment, People and Creativity.
The “Outstanding Achievement Award” and the “Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator” will be presented to Tommy Hilfiger for his ongoing multicultural relevance initiative. Fifty creative talents will also take the stage at the event as part of NEW WAVE: Creatives.
TikTok will present the Fashion Awards 2021 on 29 November. General admission tickets are now available for purchase online.
