Brain Dead takes us on a psychotropic journey with its new autumn/winter capsule collection in which Kyle Ng alters reality through fabrics.
The LA-based streetwear brand presents a lookbook for FW21 in which Will Goodan follows Mia Kitora Howe in a series of voyeuristic sequences. The photographer captures the model illuminated among neon lights, around convenience stores, in underground stations, as well as in other more subdued areas of the city.
Through these scenarios that interact between light and dark, the focus is placed on a series of garments that include a knitted jumper with teddy bears, a retro fleece jacket, a knitted waistcoat of a kitten with six eyes, or a plaid denim set composed of a pair of trousers and a jacket. On the latter, a psychedelic graphic of a mushroom and a skeleton just represented the theme of the fifth collection with which the label closes the year.
Brain Dead‘s “Drop 5” for autumn-winter 21′ will be available online and in physical stores such as Dover Street Market from 30 November.
