BEAMS reinvents the Wallabee silhouette by Clarks Originals

BEAMS has unveiled a limited edition collaboration with Clarks Originals that reinvents the classic Wallabee silhouette.

Dubbed Wallaroo, the silhouette was designed by Japanese stylist Akio Hasegawa as part of SSZ’s 5th anniversary. The design differs from the traditional silhouette in that it does not include laces, giving it a more minimalist feel.

The upper is made from high quality suede and features the signature rubber outsole found on all models. Completing the new Wallaroo silhouette, Hasegawa’s initials appear on the heel.

Earlier this month, BEAMS announced its upcoming collection with Levi’s titled “Super Wide”. The collection follows their 2019 line “The Inside Out” and “Half & Half” and reinvents Levi’s 501XX jeans and 506XX denim jacket.
