With a proposal for both men and women and an even greater focus on sustainability, Heron Preston SS22 is now available for purchase.
For Preston’s spring/summer season, there is no shortage of the iconic utilitarian silhouettes for which he has been known since his beginnings and the color palette to which the designer has accustomed us.
Among the novelties introduced in the new collection we can find a series of garments with Y2K aesthetics and several executive looks. A sky blue suit and tribals are the protagonists of the collection. The collection continues with quilted, bulletproof vests, long dresses, corsets and transparencies.
SUSTAINABILITY
The most important aspect of the collection does not lie in its final materialization, but in its production. This season, Heron Preston has introduced a three-tier scale to assess the level of environmental impact of each of its garments. These have been classified into 3 categories: eX-Ray , Preferred and Standard , in descending order of sustainability. Standard garments contain less than 50% by weight of materials considered sustainable. Preferred garments contain at least 50%, and eX-Ray pieces are almost 100% sustainable. This measure takes into account all manufacturing along the supply chain, from sourcing to shipping to manufacturing to social conditions during the process. The goal is to eliminate all Standard items from their collections.
