After linking up with Stray Rats in early 2022, Carhartt WIP is now collaborating with Salomon. The new release includes a reinterpretation of the CSWP Shelter silhouette, a hiking boot that was reworked by Better™ Gift Shop in 2020.
The collaboration combines the workwear style of Carhartt WIP with the technical expertise of Salomon. The new silhouette is fully waterproof and comes with lightweight insulation and improved grip. The colour palette of the CSWP Shelter model includes a combination of greens, greys and blacks.
The release features the Carhartt WIP C logo on the heel, and insoles printed with traditional Indonesian camouflage. The shoe is finished with ripstop detailing on the upper, a reference to the frequent use of this material in Carhartt WIP collections.
The collection will be launched in selected shops, the Carhartt WIP webshop and the Salomon webshop on February 10th.
