London-based creatives and co-founders of Places+Faces, Ciesay and Soulz, present their first photo book, a collection of over nine years of Polaroids featuring iconic artists such as A$AP Rocky, Skepta and Tyler, the Creator.
The creative duo’s passion for photography is now reflected in this new book of portraits, which they exhibited at Protein Studios in Shoreditch this past weekend.
The book, which features over 50 photos shot with Ciesay’s Big Shot, includes images of music, fashion and film personalities such as A$AP Rocky, Iris Law, Skepta holding a physical copy of his invitation to Virgil Abloh’s first LV fashion show, Idris Elba and Jorja Smith. There’s even a surprise photo of Quentin Tarantino.
“With this book we want to give people a glimpse into the world of Places+Faces and the essence of the brand,” Casey tells Dazed. “We want to highlight the relationships we have with people from all over the world, from musicians to designers, actors, and other creatives.
Ciesay and Soulz have also launched a range of limited merchandise, hoodies and tote bags printed with selected portraits.
