Men’s fashion designers have recently presented their SS23 collections at Fashion Week in London, Milan and Paris, among others. Now, after analysing all the trends, the H. team tells you which trends have been the most repeated this season. From bright colours, tie-dye and ombré, all of which have brought a dose of “dopamine” to the men’s wardrobe.
Louis Vuitton
Despite being the maison’s first show without the presence of its late creative director Virgil Abloh, his vision continues to be present in each of the silhouettes. Look 28 is the one we’re highlighting this time, as it consists of an orange and white baseball jacket with ombré skater trousers, i.e. overlaying shades of green and orange on a darker background.
Dries Van Noten
The brand based part of its SS23 collection on the Buffalo style of London in the 80s with elements of the most fashionable aesthetic of the moment: the motocross or ‘Motomami’ as Rosalía calls it. In look 57 the designer combined a sleeveless orange and yellow zip-up top with patchwork shorts.
Marine Serre
The designer named her SS23 collection “State of Soul”. The 40’s look included two flowing green tie dye pieces overlaid with a print that mimics a tropical landscape that is also repeated on the cap.
Rick Owens
In contrast to his usual monotone palette, Rick Owens has presented a few brightly coloured pieces for the SS23 season. Look 33 consisted of a hot pink ombré top with green and yellow details and metallic pink cargo trousers.
AGR
London-based brand AGR has opted to offer multicoloured knitwear. Look 4 included a rainbow jumper paired with bright grey technical trousers and a bag with the brand’s logo.
Marcelo Burlon
In the SS22 season fashion show where Spanish content creators such as Biel Juste o Joan Margarit or the chef Jorge Brazález López, among many others, made their debut. Marcelo Burlon’s look 55 for the SS23 season consisted of an XXL tank top with a long cut and matching wide trousers in sixties-inspired colours.
Amiri
Angelean Mike Amiri were in Paris and while their previous designs were linked to denim, for SS23 they have expanded their offering to a variety of colours and fabrics. The 50th look consisted of a dyed knitted jumper in shades of blue and green that was paired with oversized peg trousers in a silky fabric.
Now… Why not take a look at Virgil Abloh’s legacy in the new Louis Vuitton bags?
