One of the most anticipated releases of 2023 is the Clot x Nike Cortez, which arrives to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the silhouette.
First spotted on social media by CLOT founder Edison Chen, we now have new images of one of the most desirable sneakers of the season. This pair of trainers is equipped with a removable black cover, like a kind of protective button, which includes an adjustable lace with a button that mimics the yin-yang logo.
Removing the black cover reveals the Nike Cortez in black and white. The upper has a smooth leather finish, Chinese kung fu calligraphy is embroidered on the heel and the CLOT logo is displayed on the tongues. While the sporty aesthetic is still present, the combination of materials and tones bring modernity and sophistication in equal measure.

The CLOT x Nike Cortez will be released this spring for $150 (€138.54) and are expected to be available on Nike’s website.
