Just a few hours ago, the networks were ablaze after Palace posted a teaser of his upcoming work with RIMOWA. Now, they are revealing all the details about the exclusive collaboration.
Merging the unique approach of the London-based brand and the traditional know-how of the leading luggage company, a very special connection emerges: a limited edition suitcase, a skateboard and a set of stickers.
The Palace RIMOWA Original Cabin Desert Suitcase is decorated with a dystopian desert landscape that reveals the iconic metallic finish underneath. The artwork has been digitally printed and features the Palace logo as well as “a nomadic figure walking towards a chrome monolith, which appears to be guarded by a sand sculpture of a woman”. Only 500 models have been produced, so this is a very limited release.
Secondly, and celebrating the spirit of mobility, the skateboard stands on a base of Canadian maple wood. On the reverse, the logo of both companies is geometrically combined and the pattern is repeated throughout.
The exclusive Palace RIMOWA collection will be launched on 10 February through the Palace website, its physical shops and at Dover Street Market.
