Rolex has unveiled its new models for this season. With its latest creations, one of the most highly regarded Swiss watch brands is once again demonstrating its mission to achieve excellence.
The new Rolex models presented in 2023 demonstrate a desire to continually reinvent itself, to innovate while maintaining the spirit of tradition and to place technology at the service of creative audacity. A permanent challenge that is expressed by perfecting each element, questioning each achievement and mastering each savoir-faire to create true icons.
Cosmograph Daytona
An iconic timepiece par excellence, the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona has established itself through its emblematic aesthetics and superlative performance. On the occasion of the model’s 60th anniversary, Rolex is perpetuating the myth of its chronograph by revisiting the entire range. A work of great precision that focuses on both the case and the movement.
1908
Inheriting the brand’s historic codes and countless watchmaking innovations, the watch marks a new milestone in the brand’s quest for excellence. Inspired by a 1931 Oyster Perpetual, this completely new model responds to the challenge of a slimmer watch in the Rolex canons and heralds the arrival of the Perpetual collection, which redefines the traditional wristwatch in the brand’s avant-garde spirit. The name “1908” refers to the year in which the brand was officially registered in Switzerland.
Yacht-Master 42
The new Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 in RLX titanium has established itself as an ally for those seeking freedom of movement. Specially adapted to the demands and constraints of sports sailing, it puts excellence at the service of performance. The Yacht-Master 42, the second watch offered by Rolex in RLX titanium after the Oyster Perpetual Deepsea Challenge, proves that lightness is serious business.
Sky-Dweller
With its two time zones and its annual calendar, the range is renewed by numerous advances that remind us that, for Rolex, excellence resides in the smallest of details. Starting with an aesthetic evolution, with new models extending the range. Then there is a technical evolution, with the introduction of a movement featuring Rolex’s latest technological advances.
GMT-Master II
The GMT-Master II, which enables the time to be monitored in a different time zone, is now available in two new versions – 18-carat yellow gold and yellow Rolesor – with a Cerachrom disc in grey and black ceramic, a colour combination never seen before. The choice of materials, the precision of the finishes and the excellence of the savoir-faire have made it possible to sublimate the material so that it releases the light more effectively.
Explorar 40
The Explorer range is extended with a new 40 mm-diameter model. With greater legibility, it retains the qualities that made the Explorer, one of Rolex’s first tool watches, a benchmark over the years. The new Explorer 40 is made of Oystersteel, an alloy exclusive to Rolex. The satin-brushed finishes on the case, bracelet and clasp and the light reflections on the flanks of the case make it a unique timepiece.
Oyster Perpetual
A crackle of colours, a pop aesthetic, an emotion in motion. With their new dials dotted with multicoloured bubbles, the Oyster Perpetual 31, 36 and 41 bring together the five colours introduced into the range in 2020. A chromatic effervescence and graphic euphoria made possible by technical mastery and expertise. Manufactured under very strict conditions to avoid dust contamination, the production of the dial requires meticulousness at every stage to make each colour into something marvellous.
Day-Date 36
The new Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 models feature dials in ornamental stones whose shimmering tones evoke the atmosphere of the Mediterranean coasts. Green venturine, carnelian and turquoise are respectively combined with 18 carat Everose, yellow or white gold. This combination of exceptional stones, gemstones and precious metals accentuates the distinction and elegance of this prestigious model.
