UNIQLO announces the launch of its new collection with Mame Kurogouchi. This is the fifth season of this collaboration with the designer, which brings together a selection of pieces dominated by slightly curved lines and the Japanese firm’s exclusive fabrics and production techniques.
The result is a collection full of noble materials, delicate cuts and elegant shades, where the undisputed star of the season is the translucent material. Developed especially for this occasion, it is a flexible and delicate fabric that is used in different garments such as the non-wired bra, the shorts and the camisole.
On the other hand, the novelty is found in the 3D knitted mesh jumpers and dresses designed through artisanal techniques and elements, resulting in designs and fits that wrap the body in a soft and distinctive way.
All this under a colour palette dominated by the blue gradient, so characteristic of summer, which simulates ocean waves.
The UNIQLO x Mame Kurogouchi collection will go on sale on 28 April at uniqlo.com and in stores worldwide.
