YUME YUME and Thier & van Daalen present a collection of design shelves

YUME YUME is committed as a brand to blur the lines between art and fashion. This time it does so by getting right into interior design.

Following its capsule Collection with the artist Kate Ahn, YUME YUME teams up this time with studio Thier & van Daalen to launch its first interior design collection. Fusing fashion and design, the footwear brand and the Dutch design duo present a collection of recycled plastic designer shelves with intricate patterns reminiscent of the brand’s footwear. In addition to the designer shelves, this special limited edition includes Suki & Tyre’s signature footwear silhouettes in a color palette to match the design elements.

The Plastic Mine series by studio Thier & van Daalen turns irregularly shaped factory overproduction plastics into unique and eye-catching circular accessories for the home. Working with 3 different two-tone themes, the design duo creates a limited series of 45 shelves, while YUME YUME plays with puffed straps and Suki and Tyre silhouettes for footwear.

YUME YUME takes a step further with this collaboration in its dream to build a multidisciplinary art space that attracts creatives from different fields. While working alongside other creative minds, they are committed to breaking boundaries and doing something beyond fashion. Each shelf is unique, with a different color tone and shape. With the goal of minimizing the impact on the environment, the designer pieces are manufactured with as little energy as possible.
