Artist Misterpiro collaborates with Campo Viejo in a very special edition

Andrés Sánchez -better known as Misterpiro- designs the new limited edition of Campo Viejo’s iconic CV Reserva. This collaboration highlights the search for possibilities both in the creative process and in the winemaking process born of PASSION, key to the working philosophy of the brand and Misterpiro.

This reference is a wine that stands out for its expressiveness, versatility and fruity character, with aromas of cherries, black plums and ripe blackberries, the result of Campo Viejo’s experience and winemaking philosophy. Smooth and balanced on the palate, with a permanent, long and full-flavoured finish, Campo Viejo Reserva is a wine full of complexity and nuances obtained through a four-year ageing process.

Thus, this ultimate expression of Rioja wines vibrates to the rhythm and in the same way as the work of Misterpiro, known for his creative curiosity and expressionist language: full of colour, textures and life. Inspired by the earth, the sky and the vines, Misterpiro has managed to generate a unique work with a synaesthetic character that seeks to generate a symphony of sensations.

The Passion and curiosity that Campo Viejo and Misterpiro share in their work philosophy also gives special importance to time, a fundamental factor that allows their works to evolve until they are complete. This was made concrete at the Casa Pasión event: Campo Viejo’s new brand experience – held on 12 and 13 September – in which Misterpiro intervened in Campo Viejo’s barrel room with his work.

Thus, an ephemeral space called the “Artist’s Studio” was brought to life, in which a conversation was generated about the points in common between Misterpiro and Campo Viejo: “Emotions and ideas converged in strokes, brushstrokes and textures, the earth appeared abruptly in earth and ochre, the sky in a plastic way in all its chromatic range, sunsets and sunrises over the grape and all its colours“, commented the artist. “The touches and textures appeared over several days to give life to this work”.

CV Pasión Limited Edition will be available in Spain, UK and Canada, among other countries, from November.
