After launching an electrified version of the UGG boot earlier this year, the London-based skatewear brand debuts its second collaboration with UGG to dress the entire urban community in its cozy, low-cut boots for the winter season.
Reinterpreted in two colourways, the UGG Tasman is now dressed in a series of pop graphics from the Palace universe, embroidered in patchwork throughout the ultra-lightweight suede silhouette lined with sheepskin and recycled wool.
The second part of this collaborative story is illustrated in a fashion film starring Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, a long-time Palace cast member, and directed by Adam Todhunter, another Palace collaborator, in a warm festive atmosphere, of a new exclusive song featuring members of the Palace skating team.
As for the model itself, it comes in two tones of brown and green suede with cartoon patches, symbols and lettering that belong to the London-based brand’s imaginary, which inhabit all Palace collections, such as devil babies or psychedelic sunrises.
The Tasman shoes are accompanied by matching mittens and a white sheepskin rug with the initial “P” for Palace, which, like the rest of the collection, will go on sale on 1 December at 11 a.m. EDT on the brand’s official website. EDT on the brand’s official website.
