Bad Gyal presents her new single Give Me as a preview of her debut album, La Joia, which will be released on 26 January 2024 and with it new tour dates.
LA JOIA – 24 KARATS TOUR will kick off on February 2nd in Zaragoza and will be playing the main venues in Spain until April 13th. Yesterday Bad Gyal announced a second date at the Wizink Center in Madrid for April 7th after SOLD OUT the first one in just two weeks. As for the new track, the production of the song features the unreleased collaboration of Scott Storch and Nely El Arma Secreta – both of whom have previously worked with the artist separately on Zorra o Slim Thick (Storch) and Judas (Nely). Give Me will join 14 other tracks on the new album, including previously unreleased collaborations with Anitta, Morad, Ñengo Flow and Tommy Lee Sparta, in addition to Myke Towers (Mi Lova), Tokischa and Young Miko (Chulo pt.2) and Quevedo (Real G).
The cover of Give Me features the work of Sheila Janet Pinas, responsible for the whole photographic universe of La Joia. In it Bad Gyal appears wearing a dress from Esteban Cortázar’s SS 2002 collection, also seen on the cover of Beyoncé’s Naughty Girl (2003). With this reference, the artist manages to close, together with the typography, an R&B 90’s aesthetic present in the whole imaginary of the album.
