Sydney Sweeney recalls the most “disgusting” scene she filmed for ‘Euphoria’

The star appeared on a new episode of First We Feast’s Hot Ones, where she and host Sean Evans munched on the hot wings while recalling one of the most powerful moments for her during the filming of ‘Euphoria’. Sweeney has starred in some of the hit show’s most iconic moments. One of the most notable involves Cassie violently vomiting in a hot tub. Shortly after Kat, Maddy and Nate mess with her, Cassie vomits all over everyone as a result of drinking several bottles of alcohol.

Of the disgusting scene, Sydney Sweeney said in the interview that the moment was just as gross on TV as it was in real life. “During the hot tub scene, during the vomiting, I got really grossed out. They had to create… because Sam [Levinson] wanted, of course, real vomit everywhere. In a lot of movies, they just have a mashed-up cup of whatever they have of Crafty mixed with milk and water. It’s the most disgusting thing and you put it in your mouth, hold it in your mouth and then throw it up.”

Sweeney explained that on-screen vomit scenes are not normally difficult to shoot, however, this scene required a lot of techniques to make it look real. “They had to get a pump, and they had this tube that they just taped up and hid in my body, and then they CGI’d it out through my neck. And then I had to put bits of food in my mouth. During that scene, they fill my mouth with vomit, and then it would shoot out of my mouth. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever experienced”.

The sex scenes in ‘Euphoria’ have helped Sydney Sweeney feel more comfortable with her body.
