Milan’s Fashion Week has just begun with a fabulous new chapter: the relaunch of Byblos. The classic Italian brand, which has little left of classic, has gone into the aesthetics of tomorrow. SS19 opts for a Technotronic vision.
The meters of reflective silver material waving in the air made us feel as if we were entering a capsule in the direction of the Moon. Technical and high-performance materials coexisted with neon color and heavy hardware as an accessory. A version of Blade Runner 3.0.
In the new Byblos not everything was tomorrow’s fashion, there were also proposals that were based on their past. We could see this in the dresses with typical gradients of the previous stage but this time they were projected towards the future, with brushstrokes like feathers that created a sensation of futuristic movement.

The reflective nylon footwear captured all eyes and in terms of accessories the sunglasses with large visors were the protagonists. A Byblos that has returned with tomorrow’s pretensions and that we are sure will give a lot to talk about in the next fashion weeks.
