Alejandre wins the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award and will present her collection in Prague

Alejandre has been proclaimed the winner of the 24th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award as the best emerging brand of the 80th Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. For more than ten years, this award has been recognising and supporting the new promises of the national scene such as the designer Sandra Alejandre, who will be able to present the winning collection at Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week.

After parading this past Sunday, 15 September, the designer from Madrid has won with her collection ‘Core’, inspired by the close union that exists between the work and personal life of an artist. The pieces that make up the collection are a revision of classic patterns, reinterpreted and infected by the brand’s lingerie identity. Through enriched silhouettes, the superimposition of garments and the contrast of different styles, the winning proposal manages to actively transform the essences and peculiarities of modern femininity.

Her collection has captivated the jury of this edition, composed of Isabel Jiménez, Mercedes-Benz ambassador, journalist and co-founder of the fashion brand Slowlove; Isabel Sanchis and Paula Maiques, founder and creative directors of the firm Isabel Sanchis; Beatriz Guerrero, director of the Master in Fashion and Beauty Communication Telva & Yo Dona; Elena Muñoz, fashion and lifestyle journalist. The experts have highlighted Alejandre’s ‘maturity and evolution’, as well as the balance between personality and commercial projection of the firm.

Alejandre thus joins the list of winners of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent and follows in the footsteps of great names such as Ernesto Naranjo, Dominnico or Pepa Salazar in representing emerging national fashion outside our borders, specifically on the catwalk of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week.

From it comes Tomas Nemec, the international guest brand that has paraded for the first time in Spain with his new collection for Autumn/Winter 2025; a proposal set in a night bar in Prague, with a dark palette and accents of deep colours.
