To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the initiative that completely changed the paradigm of modern fashion.
If we look back to 2004, we can understand the impact of a textile giant like H&M collaborating with one of the most acclaimed designers of the moment: Karl Lagerfeld, who at the time was Creative Director at Chanel. This exciting initiative was an industry game changer, making luxury fashion more accessible and raising the profile of some of the most celebrated creatives.
Since then, the company, also known as Hennes & Mauritz, has worked hand in hand with big names such as Versace, Marni, Moschino, Stella McCartney, Mugler or rabanne among many others, creating authentic collector’s pieces that, once again, will be available for a limited time through a series of launches in seven shops around the world and hm.com.
This second chance is possible thanks to the H&M Pre-Loved project, which is committed to giving a second life to used garments and thus promoting a circular system with sustainable and innovative solutions for customers.
‘By working with second-hand pieces, we can bring these collections back to fashion fans, giving them the opportunity to love them again, while introducing iconic H&M fashion moments and the world’s best design talents to a new generation,’ enthuses Jörgen Andersson, creative director of the Swedish company.
Each in-store activation will be a completely unique experience, and in Spain we will be able to enjoy it at the Barcelona store (Passeig de Gràcia, 11) from Monday 28 October.
