Heaven by Marc Jacobs launches “LA Forever” charity t-shirt

Amidst the devastation caused by the wildfires that have swept through the Los Angeles metropolitan area in recent weeks, several brands have stepped up to the plate to help with the recovery. One of the latest to join the cause is Heaven by Marc Jacobs, which, in collaboration with Dover Street Market Los Angeles, has launched an exclusive T-shirt under the slogan “LA Forever.” This charity project brings together a host of brands and creatives from the Marc Jacobs universe with one purpose: to raise funds for organizations in Los Angeles that are working hard to rebuild homes lost in the fires.

The limited-edition T-shirt features an illustration of Los Angeles on the front, created by artist Eri Wakiyama. On the back, a list of all the project’s collaborators, known as Marc Jacobs’ “Heaven Angels,” who include names like Sandy Liang, Stray Rats, Comme Tees, Ice Studios, Little Tokyo Table Tennis and many more.

For every shirt sold, dollars will go to Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles’ ReBUILD LA fund, which aims to help people get their homes back on track. The shirts are now available at Dover Street Market in sizes S-XL, priced at $50. They are currently in production and shipments are estimated to arrive in about three weeks.
