We can finally say that the new era of Ray-Ban has begun. And it has done so in style under the name of Ray-Ban Blacked-Out Collection. A proposal where Rocky reinterprets three historic silhouettes –Wayfarer, Clubmaster and Balorama– applying his distinctive stamp to them: elevated sobriety, cryptic winks and low-key luxury.
As expected, black is the main colour, with the aim of highlighting the golden details and the AWGE collective’s signature. The logo appears as a squiggle on the temple tips, appropriating the eyewear brand’s DNA through a golden Sharpie.
It’s important to mention the packaging, where each of the silhouettes simulates a stack of $1,000 notes topped with A$AP Rocky‘s face in the centre. Pure high class.
