The essentials of Madrid, Ibiza, Paris and the French Riviera according to Zara

Through the “Travel Mode” experience, the Inditex brand is expanding its offering with new travel guides.

Following the first wave of destinations published in May, which included the United Kingdom, Italy, and Japan, Zara is now focusing on Madrid and Ibiza—with Barcelona and A Coruña on the horizon. In addition to offering clothing and direct delivery to your hotel wherever you are, the app provides recommendations curated by creatives and influential figures. A concept reminiscent of Louis Vuitton‘s iconic “City Guides”, but with a digital twist and more accessible.

For its edition on the capital, the brand has chosen Ona Mafalda as a guide through the charming chaos and elegant modernity of the city. From getting lost in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum to savouring an exquisite dish at Candela, enjoying a cocktail at Sala Equis or exploring El Retiro. Her gastronomic itinerary also includes stops at La Gildería, Hermanas Arce and Pistola; shopping is divided between the In-Verso bookshop, the Dandelion florist and the Llop Madrid concept store; and for accommodation, the Tótem Madrid and the UMusic Hotel. As expected, the Zara flagship stores are a must-see, with the Plaza España store standing out for its innovative concept and its own Zacaffè.

Ibiza is revealed through the artistic eye of Grillo Demo, an Argentinean who has lived on the island since the 1970s, whose narrative blends bohemianism and discreet luxury. Among his recommendations are getting lost in Cala Saladeta, visiting Santa Eulalia, swimming in s’Aigua Blanca and discovering Santa Agnès de Corona. The foodie route includes El Bigotes, La Paloma and Nudo; shopping at Bonet hat shop and Pantastic bakery; and accommodation at Les Terrasses and the Xarc Agroturismo estate.

In France, the magic of the capital is amplified by Tess Petronio: places such as the Place des Vosgues, the Palais-Royal and the Bourse de Commerce coexist with cafés such as Le Select, artisan cheese shops and soulful florists.

And the charm of the French Riviera is entrusted to Jean-François Piège and Élodie Tavares, who offer a tour that exemplifies the art of living at its finest: the Plage Paloma, the Lérins Islands, exquisite bakeries, and restaurants suspended above the sea.
