Nathy Peluso presents ‘MALPORTADA’: her new 100% salsa EP

Nathy Peluso has been teasing the news for a while now. After setting social media alight last Friday with an exclusive salsa playlist, she surprised fans on Saturday by revealing the cover art and tracklist for her upcoming album, “MALPORTADA.” It was quite a statement of intent when, on Sunday, the Argentine artist, winner of five Latin GRAMMYs, capped things off with a stellar appearance alongside Gloria Estefan in Madrid during the Hispanic Heritage Festival. She had already had the pleasure of sharing “Chirriqui Chirri” Remix, the legendary artist’s latest single with Nathy Peluso, with whom she had previously shared the legendary artist’s latest single, “Chirriqui Chirri,” with whom she had previously shared the song “Chirriqui Chirri” Remix. Since this collaboration, everything pointed to something big… and now it’s official.

“MALPORTADA,” her new 100% salsa EP, arrives on October 16th with six previously unreleased tracks, composed and produced alongside Manuel Lara—whom she previously worked with as her right-hand man for GRASA and has produced other major artists such as Bad Bunny and Kali Uchis, among others—and Servando Primera (a superstar in Venezuela, author of anthems such as “Felices los 4” by Maluma, “Mayores” with Becky G, and “Telepatía” by the aforementioned Kali Uchis).

This new EP, recorded in Puerto Rico in May 2025, draws from all the roots of one of Nathy Peluso’s favorite genres to show a new side (or many) of the artist. An intense, visceral, danceable, and character-filled journey, as only she knows how.

With this EP, Nathy opens a new era without leaving behind the GRASA phenomenon (SONY, 2024), her latest album with which the eclectic Argentine continues touring the world’s greatest arenas, selling out venues such as the National Auditorium in Mexico City and the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. She now returns to Mexico, landing for the first time in Puerto Rico before ending in Spain on February 14th and 17th with dates in Barcelona and Madrid.

Adding to this is a new and consolidated universe, the explosive Club Grasa, a DJ set hosted and presented by Nathy herself, mixing her music and the work of other artists with her own style, touring major national and international venues such as Puerto Rico and New York soon.

Salsa has a new boss. And her name is NATHY PELUSO.

Nathy Peluso now has her own sunglasses signed by Meller.
